Un film d'impression, la projection d'un monde intérieur, hanté par la peur. Un monde pop, cadré et coloré en écho au blow up d'Antonioni, une quête de sens sur l'image, sa projection et la disparition de l'essence, de l'âme dans le cadre des photos qui envahissent nos vies, au point de se perdre et de n'être plus que l'ombre de nous-mêmes. Intentions: Deux films m’ont marqué plus jeune: le voyeur de michael Powell et Blow up d’Antonioni. Les deux films sont anglais, et le traitement de l’image est très organique. Les acteurs sont complètement investis et inspirés, déroutants, sur la brèche. Fous, obsessionnels. Dark Lens c’est le mariage du jeu et de l’image. La beauté de la peur incarné dans un regard et capturé dans un cadre. Un film Pop/rock, à l’anglaise.

 

An impression movie, the projection of an inner world, haunted by fear. A pop world, framed and colored in echo to Antonioni's blow up, and Powell's films. A quest for meaning in the image, its projection and the disappearance of the soul in the frame, to the point of getting lost and being only a shadow of ourselves. Intentions: Two films made an impression on me when I was younger: Powell's Peeping Tom and Antonioni's Blow up. Both films are English, and the image processing is very organic. The actors are completely invested and inspired, confusing, on the edge. Crazy, obsessive. Dark Lens is mixing acting and image. The beauty of fear embodied in a look and captured in a frame. A Pop/rock film, English style.
